The new Sig Sauer P320 XCompact pistol, which takes all the popular X Series features and puts them in a compact frame optimized for carry, is headed to dealers
Introduced earlier this year, the XCompact blends the features of the full-size line such as the redesigned grip module with a fastback profile, contoured magwell, and flat trigger with a deep trigger guard undercut, to a subcompact slide and barrel. This puts the gun in the same neighborhood size-wise as the P320 Compact— and Glock’s G19— while adding a ton of features. Best yet, it is comes standard with a X-Ray3 day/night front sight with rear night sight plate assembly making it optic-ready for Sig’s Romeo series and Deltapoint Pros.
Size overall is 7 inches and the double stack 15+1 9mm weighs in at 25.3-ounces. While a compact with a 3.6-inch barrel, the pistol still sports an M1913 accessory rail on the dust cover. MSRP is $680.
Guns.com caught up with Sig Product Manager Phil Strader earlier this year at SHOT Show in Las Vegas where he showed off both the P320 XCompact and the new Sig 320X V-Tac. Check that out, below.
